Previously, a race condition would make the team preview selector appear
before we knew how many pokemon needed to be selected (e.g. 4 in VGC).
This new UI patches over that problem, although the real fix (mentioned
in the TODO comment) is to send that information in the request object.
The timer was always kind of ugly and text-based, which is awkward on
non-wide screens, where you couldn't see it at all without switching
into the battle log.
The new version gives the timer a home at the upper right of the battle
choice screen (where the active Pokémon's HP used to be) (the active
Pokémon's HP has been moved next to "What will [pokemon] do?").
The spectator UI has also been updated, and now supports jumping to the
beginning/end of the battle, as well as forward/backward 1 turn,
regardless of whether the battle has ended.
In addition, a lot of other button layouts/appearances have been
improved.
This fixes autojoin not working because of the window width being too narrow.
This was from before chatrooms besides Lobby were implemente, but nowadays it
depends on the window layout of a desktop giving the browser enough width,
isn't consistent with autojoining via routing or server-side autojoin, and for
mobile users makes the function dependent on the screen resolution and whether
or not the phone's in profile or landscape mode.
Fixes#742
This merges the CSS for buttons and tabbars the way they're merged in
regular light mode, making them more consistent with each other and in
general making them look nicer.
It's, in all, a matter of taste, but while I don't think this looks
_great_, I do think it's an improvement on what it looked like before.
- Added rotated fist particle;
- Added Revelation Dance and Guardian of Alola move animations;
- Updated Memento & Hammer Arm move animation;
- Darkest Lariat will use the Flare Blitz move animation;
- Updated a few animation backgrounds to use gradients instead of a
solid color
Prepared statements are much better than manually constructing queries,
but PHP's MySQLi prepared statement syntax sucks.
So does PDO's, but we're abstracting it out so we can make it not suck,
and give it the syntax it should always have had. Which is what this
does.
Yay, finally.
