Gearing up for its twelfth iteration is the next SplashGo\! tournament in Japan\! In an exciting collaboration for this year, SplashGo\! is teaming up with Nine and Zach to provide an English commentary stream running simultaneously with the original stream on IPL’s [Twitch channel](http://twitch.tv/iplsplatoon).
The tournament has a massive 93 teams signed up already, 61 more teams than the previous event, SplashGo\! \#11 in August\! The main event will be a Group Round Robin style event into a Single-Elimination Finals bracket, exclusively for Turf War. The Splatoon 3 tournament has already reached its 12-team limit, but spectators are just as welcome to attend\! Show up and prove that you don't flounder at the function and meet some big names in the community\!
Those competing need their Nintendo Switch, 3.5mm headset, controller (handheld players will be accommodated), and copy of Splatoon 3, and bringing your Switch 1 dock is encouraged. Nintendo Switch 2 is not allowed. The main event is split into two Group Pools, which will coalesce into one Double Elimination Bracket.

Previously, New InkLAN \#5 was scheduled for October 2025, but has been rescheduled to the new year\! Hosted by the New England Squids, New InkLAN is a recurring LAN hosted at the Balance Patch esports center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Competitors are encouraged to bring their own setups, which include: Switch, dock, and LAN cables. Spectators can also bring setups to play at when stations aren’t in use\! Balance Patch requires competitors under the age of 16 to be accompanied by a parent/guardian, so players will need to select applicable passes upon registering.

Announced during Toronto’s Squid Social 28 in October 2025, Torontoroka is Canada’s newest LAN tourney, hosted by the same folks\! The LAN takes place at the Invictus Game Station, same as Squid Social. Torontoroka will also crown Canada’s representatives for the LAN Championship Showdown\!

New York’s recurring LAN, Big Dapple, recently relocated to the OS NYC internet cafe in Bowery, NY, where it set a new registration record in December, with over 120 registered attendees\! Commute routes are plentiful, with parking garages and subway lines nearby, making it easy to access to all who want in.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is permitted for the tournament\! Competitors also need their controller, game, and a headset. The Big Dapple Art Show is accepting submissions, for those who want to contribute non-competitively\!
