The status of the plugin can be controlled via the main settings window.
To open it click Tools -> Advanced Scene Switcher.

Now General tab will open up and you start and stop the plugin by pressing the corresponding button.

You can also add a dock to control the scene switcher via View -> Docks -> Advanced Scene Switcher.

Configuring hotkeys to control the scene switcher can be done in OBS' hotkey settings menu.
