# SparkFun Default Settings

Local UI settings are found in the following locations:

* Windows -- `%appdata%/roaming/kicad`
* Mac -- TBD
* Linux --TBD

To install SparkFun custom settings, copy the desired file from this repo and place in the appropriate location.

## eeschema settings

Default colors for eeschema are kept as the default, but can be found in ./SparkFun_eeschema/ anyhow.

## pcbnew and 3D viewer settings

Settings file sets up colors for pcbnew and the 3D viewer.  A user should select either SparkFun_Green_PCB or SparkFun_Red_PCB from ./SparkFun_UI_Defaults/

### pcbnew

Both versions use the same settings as default but with a couple changes:

* Paste layer changed to pop out a bit
* F.SilkS and B.SilkS chosen as light grey

### 3DViewer colors

Colors are set to match about what SparkFun boards look like.
